The short version
Heliservices, part of the ALS group, leases helicopters on ACMI terms and flies them on charter. It doesn't own the helicopters: it operates and manages them for their owners. The aircraft are equipped for hoist rescue, external loads, medical evacuation from places fixed-wing aircraft can't reach, and aerial filming.
